There has been an evident increase in the self-esteem of Ford employees since Ford Motor Company started an in-house assessment in 1999.
According to a report from Ford World, the internal magazine of the automotive company, the morale of Ford employees in America began to attain the highest level after the company ventured into conducting internal surveys.

The most recent Pulse Survey shows that, in September, employee morale reached 63 percent. In America alone, the morale of Ford employees went up to 66 percent. The survey covers 80,000 plant leaders from all over the world. Moreover, the Pulse Survey indicates that the belief of Ford employees in the long-standing accomplishments since the 65 percent score of the 2006 survey leaped to 77 percent this year.
According to some officials from Ford, the rise of employee morale can be attributed to the significant improvement in the quality of various Ford products.
In addition, Ford employees are now more confident because of the stability their company is enjoying these days. With a terrible loss of 12.6 billion dollars last year, the automotive company struggled to give its products and services a comprehensive boost. This year, Ford has been successful in its efforts to lift the standing of the company. With an 88 million dollar net income, Ford is now able to assure its employees of a more stable working environment.
